CARRY A SMALL FLASHLIGHT! Storms often bring power outages. College Police encourage everyone to carry a small flashlight. There are some rooms, without windows, which will be dark, even in the daytime. In the event of an outage, remain calm and wait in class. If an extended outage is anticipated, you will be notified of any school closure. Closure announcements are given to the AM news radio stations, and on the main campus phone number. In the event of school closure, exit the buildings in a safe manner. The "hero" carrying the flashlight can lead you.
