COM casts a young Hamlet

For serious mountain climbers, Everest often marks the peak challenge of their careers; for many serious actors that zenith can come from playing William Shakespeare's "Hamlet," which College of Marin will stage between March 5 and March 21. "It is probably one of the most difficult roles ever written for any actor to play, and that's why all actors want to try it sometime during their lives," said long-time COM drama instructor James Dunn.

Language faculty preps for film festival

Six flicks selected for free annual event

College of Marin will be holding its third annual International Film Festival from February 26 to April 2. The festival offers six films, each focusing on one of the foreign languages offered at COM, including American Sign Language. One instructor from each language taught chooses the film that is shown.

Echo Times: What art classes you are taking now (or have taken) at COM ? Bradley: I have studied  three years of dance including  ballet and modern dance with Kristi Kuhn, Deborah Graham, and Sandi Tanner. I've also taken dance and theater with Sandi Weldon.
